Deleting your Questify account
Last updated 24 October 2026
Everything Questify holds about you can be deleted, permanently, and you do not have to ask anyone. This page exists because Google Play requires a way to request deletion from the web as well as from inside the app.
From the app — instant, and the complete way
Open Questify and go to:
It asks you to confirm, and then it removes:
- every quest and every submission, on the phone and in the backup
- your streaks, experience points, level and badges
- your nickname, and its entry in the list of names in use
- your friend connections — on both sides — the invite codes you made or used, the summary your friends could see, and the reactions and nudges you sent or received
- your row on the scoreboard of every challenge you were in
- your purchase record at RevenueCat, if you bought the unlock
- the account itself, including the Google sign-in link if you made one
A subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. If you pay monthly or yearly, cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), or it keeps renewing.
None of it is recoverable afterwards. Our daily backups, kept only to recover from a fault, hold a copy for up to 7 days; if one is ever restored, your account is deleted again. If you want your history, take it before you delete: Settings → Account → Download my data.
If you no longer have the app
If you linked a Google account
Email business.object.au@gmail.com from the Google address you linked, asking for your Questify account to be deleted. That email address is what identifies the account, so the request has to come from it. Deletion is done within 30 days and you are told when it is.
If you never linked one
Then there is nothing to identify you by, and this is worth being plain about. An account that was never linked has no email address, no name and no phone number attached to it — that is the point of it, and it is why the app never asked you for any. The account identifier lives on the phone, so the phone is the only thing that can prove the account is yours.
So: delete it from the app while you still have it. If the phone is already gone, write to business.object.au@gmail.com anyway — we will tell you honestly what can and cannot be found, rather than delete some stranger’s history on a guess.
Uninstalling is not deleting
Removing the app takes the copy on your phone with it, but the backup stays so that reinstalling can bring your streaks back. Use the button above if you want it gone rather than paused.
